LytSkyn · R&B / Soul · Pensacola, Florida

The Artist

Pensacola-based. LytSkyn brings more than 25 years of musicianship to independent R&B and soul—music shaped by love, loss, and the life in between.

Church musicianship shaped his foundation. Keyboards became his primary instrument, with the Hammond B3 organ at the heart of his musical identity.

The Sound

Gospel-rooted musicianship, classic soul, and 1990s R&B meet a contemporary perspective on relationships, love, loss, and life. His music makes room for warmth, honesty, and the connection between artist and listener.

The Journey

His musical background spans saxophone and drums, songwriting, arranging, production, recording, mixing, mastering, bands, and artist management. For years, much of that work supported other artists.

After stepping away from much of the music business and continuing to play in church, he returned to releasing music of his own as LytSkyn. Today, he writes, produces, mixes, and masters his records, releasing independently through LytSkynd Productions.
